Art Basel Miami Beach VIP reception

On the opening night of Art Basel Miami Beach, the Bass Museum opened its doors to over 2,000 guests and hosted its biggest bash of the year.

Harry Winston, Friends of the Bass Museum, and Arte al Dia International Magazine generously sponsored the high profile event that brought together Bass Museum members with artists, gallerists, art collectors and distinguished guests from all over the globe.

The Art Basel event was preceded with an intimate gathering for upper level members, Friends of the Bass Museum, and special guests of Harry Winston and Arte al Dia.

Shortcuts between Reality and Fiction: Video, Installations and Painting from le Fonds National d'Art Contemporain is on view at the Bass Museum of Art on Miami Beach through January 29, 2006. For more information, contact Lee Ortega, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at 305-673-7530, Ext. 2001.

Don’t miss the opening reception for I Wanna Be Loved by You: Photographs of Marilyn Monroe from the Leon and Michaela Constantiner Collection in February. To learn about membership to the Bass Museum of Art, visit www.bassmuseum.org.
